My life has been lately more lively than ever - I've been studying, got a job for summer, visited my friend in England and travelled alone on the plane for the first time. But still I'm feeling quite isolated. :'D I used to be more active in cosplay communities like in Finnish Aniki or in Cosplay.com but well, lately I haven't had much time to think about cosplay, let alone to follow any interesting peeps. I always thought I wouldn't quit cosplay in many years but lately I have been so inactive that I do not know if I can be called a cosplayer anymore. :,D It's kinda sad - this has been a dear hobby for me and it still is! I just somehow don't get anything done nowadays - either I don't have time or just don't feel like spending my free time sewing and planning for costumes. I should get started with my Cheria costume, however, because I don't want to miss any more photoshoots with our amazing cosplay group! Maybe the thought of them will cheer me up and get me motivated as I will have more free time in this month. :3

But yes, a job, I has it! And it's a proper job as well! I'll work for four months, from May to August, and I'm even getting a reasonable salary! I'll be an intern at the State Treasury (Valtiokonttori in Finnish), doing some kind of stuff related to a web portal of the Finnish public administration for citizens. I'll tell you more after I begin working and get to know what I'm supposed to do there. :,D But man, it feels so good - last summer I had only a part-time job as a cleaner. It was okay, I don't despise any jobs, but this time I'll get to do something that actually relates to my studies at some level. I'll be working in Helsinki, so I have to give up my apartment in Tampere and move to my parents' place for the summer. But luckily I got a tenant for my apartment for the summer time, so I don't have to pay for it during the summer but can still return there in the autumn. :3

And yes, I was in England for a few days this week! :> I have to admit that at first I thought that there isn't much to see or to do in England unless you like football but well, guess I was wrong! I got a small glance of Manchester, spent some time in Sheffield, visited Nottingham and most importantly, this lovely little town called Bakewell in the Peak District National Park. That was absolutely the best part of the whole trip - I just adore the English countryside. *3*~ I was also travelling alone on the plane for the first time which was quite scary because I had to change flights and all. :,D But I just obeyed the instructions at the airports, so I managed to change my flights on time and without any major problems. However, when I was coming back, they wanted to body-scan me in Manchester and search my bag in Paris - never happened to me before. o_O When I got out of the plane in Finland, there was even a detection dog checking all the passengers from Paris which made me wonder if I truly was that suspicious. :--D Damn these funny coincidences for making me nervous.

Anyway, now I've proved myself that I can manage travelling alone so off to plan the next trip, then!
